Use Ammo Wisely
Metal Drift is a very fast paced game. In the middle of a firefight, the last thing you want is to be out of ammunition. A 2.5 second reload will never feel longer than with a level 40′s black tank staring you down. However, a fully loaded clip can be the difference between a beat down from a veteran or showing that old dog what a bit of skill and planning can do. Make every shot count, even with the Pulse Cannon Its better to take careful aim than to simply lay on the trigger and spray bullets over your enemy’s head. If you only have a few rounds left in your clip, ALWAYS wait for the reload. If avoidable, never fire at your teammates. You won’t damage them, but you’ll waste your own rounds and deplete your energy. The exception here would be with splash damage weapons and the Temporal cannon to finish off a weak tank.
