Arena #2 – Master
Arena #2 Master is a narrow map with boost tunnels along the wall. The ball drops dead center, and each team’s repair pad sits near the ball spawn protected by a solid wall. There’s a lot of cover, with tight spaces, so shock cannon stalking is very useful here. Tank spawns are split 3 and 3 in the corners near respective goals.

Strategies

  • A rush tactic can be successful with either Hyperspace or Speed upgrades. There is plenty of cover along the way, and beginning of the game tank spawns are split, so you won’t run into a full brigade of the enemy. Rush the ball and choose left or right up the ramps. Continue forward to keep momentum and take the sharp left or right as necessary. Save your boost for the final push to the goal to make yourself a more difficult target.
  • Use the boost tunnels to travel quickly down the side of the map. The boost tunnels outlet very near tank spawn points, so beware of fresh tanks waiting. From the outlet to enemy goal there is a very broad curve to take to keep speed up. Save your boost for the final push. Dribbling down the boost tunnel is a very good idea, and a dribble can be completed before the enemy goal.
